This piece is about homophobia. The two flags are supposed to be the same size, but apparently not. The quote "How tenderly oppressors and how severely the oppressed are treated." is from Robespierre's 1794 speech on political morality. At some point I'm going to go back and repaint the letters on the bottom half of the flag in black.
